News
04-11-2009

Not much going on lately; had a good holiday on the Isle of White (camping at the end of October, would you believe?) and took photos of some lovely building for future use in MSTS. Including a fantastic Windmill. Took much inspiration while driving around the island, all good thoughts locked away in my head for future use.

Altered the website, removed the Help & Support, not used and there is now a 'contact admin' link at the top and the message board for registered users.
Been messing with a few models on the laptop, may post progress soon. Also been busy building a website for the Oxfordshire Gang Show but not yet released.

Dad's not much better but he has now been moved to a rehabilitation ward in a different hospital.

Updates
06-10-2009

A few alterations to the website, several links were not redirecting correctly and the Message Board was not working. Thanks to those that notified me.
ALL the download links now work but some of the images still need sorting, I don't know what was wrong with the Message Board but a complete re-install has fixed it!!!
I had no idea how much work is involved in setting up and maintaining a website...

There seems little time to do any modeling lately. However, I have done some texturing work on an old project for the Warbler Light Railways, news on this model will appear in the 'Workshops' menu shortly.

My Dad is still very unwell in hospital with little sign of recovery. I have spent a great deal of time (in front of the TV) planing the project 'Much Pottering by the Dawdle' and hope to start work on the PC soon with a few basic models to keep the momentum.

Website Upgrade
17-09-2009

I have had to make several changes to the Bodgit & Scarper engineering website, these mostly follow some downloading issues from unscrupulous users unknown, pounding my bandwidth. The Bodgit & Scarper Engineering website now requires  registration before any downloads can be made; users can register your free account here. Registration is immediate, requiring only confirmation by email.

I have also taken the opportunity to change the site considerably.  As I was virtually the only user posting on the old forum I decided that it should go and I would post my work directly to the web pages. I have included a message board  on the new site for registered users, but it is only a simple message board and not a forum. It is however, the  ideal place to leave questions regarding installation issues, etc... New projects will have their own pages, with updates being posted here on the homepage.

Batt MkII
17-09-2009

The original B&SE battery loco was the first item of rolling stock ever built at B&SE and when I look at the model now I can see some real issues that I would change. So, following a request from Mike Wilson (Weasel Works) for the source files of the original, I decided to re-build the battery loco.

Sir Francis
17-09-2009

Work on this model was started last year 2008, but finding relaxation in 3D modeling I have re-kindled interest in this model. The model derives it's name from my uncle who passed away towards the end of 2008 at much the same time as my best friend's father died who's name was also Francis. I am going to finish 'Sir Francis' and upload as a commemorative model, dedicated to the two men that have had quite in influence on my life.

Much Pottering by the Dawdle
17-09-2009

This whole project is inspired by my father who suffered a heart attack in August 2009. It very quickly became apparent that his recovery would be a long and protracted affair. I thought that it was time I did something for him for a change and decidedto dedicate a project to him
My father is a model maker of extraordinary talent and I have a plethora of models and designs to choose from to from for this project.
